Penthouse Workspace

The Penthouse Workspace is an executive office on the top floor of the Parc Pavilion located in the coastal suburb of Cronulla, South Sydney. Designed as the headquarters for our client, Modus Projects, the space embodies a tactile residential sensibility combining bespoke detailing with functional planning.

The suite includes directors’ offices, boardroom, open meeting areas, lounge, kitchen, bathrooms and an outdoor terrace. Spaces are arranged to maximise natural light and frame ocean views through ribboned windows, with the centrally located boardroom anchoring the plan as a visually shared yet acoustically separated space.

Coastal Euro-inspired materiality focuses durable high-quality finishes including Travertine, Arabella Quartzite, Venetian plaster and concrete. Modular design responses in the concrete reveals and precast three piece kitchen island inlaid with charred zinc creatively address the challenge of the site being lift access only. Bathrooms continue the palette and introduce a rich seafoam plaster and colour matched bespoke concrete basins.

Custom American Walnut joinery dividing the directors’ offices balances privacy with a collaborative environment. The furniture selection favours a layered, lived-in feel to avoid overtly commercial elements. Solid teak desks, custom brass lighting, graphic rugs and a bespoke boardroom table with sculptural leg detailing craft an overall atmosphere of an evolved home, filled with collected items.
