We're Hiring: Studio Coordinator

The Studio Coordinator is an important administration role supporting the daily rhythm of our busy interior design and architecture Practice.

You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day studio operations, ensuring the team is supported, the environment is well-maintained, and operational tasks are proactively managed. We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and passionate about creating an inspiring and functional workplace that runs smoothly and efficiently.

As part of this role you will also be required to own and evolve our Practice’s materials library to ensure it is current, accessible, and supports efficient, sustainable sourcing across projects. We are looking for someone who has experience within the creative industries (supplier showroom, design studio, creative office etc.) however please note this is an administration role only and not intended as a pathway into a designer role.

This is a full-time position on site in our Bondi Junction studio.

Duties include:

• Act as the studio’s front-of-house: greet guests, manage deliveries, maintain daily studio presentation.

• Support operational needs such as ordering stationery, manage kitchen/lunch supplies, coordinate events/meetings and IT coordination with vendors.

• Provide light administrative support to Designers and General Manager (e.g. printing, diary support).

• Maintenance and curation of the materials library with current fabric, finishes, FF&E and product samples.

• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, reps, and manufacturers.

• Coordinate sample ordering, cataloguing, and disposal

• Assist designers with sourcing materials for concept boards, mood imagery, and client presentations.

• Create & then oversee digital library systems (e.g. Notion or sample catalogue platforms) to align physical and digital references.

• Host and manage supplier meetings and "Lunch & Learn” presentations in the studio.

• Stay informed about new product launches, trends, and innovations in interior materials and sustainability.

Skills & Attributes:

• Highly organised and systems-minded, with a meticulous approach to managing physical and digital environments.

• Strong communication skills - needs to be warm, clear, and professional in person and on the phone.

• Proactive and independent, with a sharp eye for what needs doing and the initiative to act without prompting.

• Understands interior design processes, materials, and terminology, with a practical grasp of how they’re applied in projects.

• Confident using Notion, Google Workspace, and sample tracking tools; quick to learn new systems.

• Attention to detail; able to curate and maintain our material library.

• Balances independent work with being a collaborative and flexible team player.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience managing the administrative aspects of a design studio, supplier showroom, or creative office environment.

• Understanding of FF&E, finishes, materials, and their practical application in residential or hospitality design.

• Familiarity with sustainability practices in materials sourcing and disposal.
