We're Hiring: Marketing Manager

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our practice and lead the day-to-day operation and delivery of our Marketing Department.

This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who combines strong marketing capability with editorial judgement, creative instinct, exceptional organisation and a genuine understanding of architecture, interiors and design.

It is not a conventional corporate marketing role, nor is it a public relations position.

The Role

Working closely with our Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager transforms strategy into action across the practice.

The role works across social media, videography, editorial and content, awards, website, brand implementation and marketing operations, with occasional creative production projects throughout the year.

It is a role for someone who enjoys both thinking and making; someone equally comfortable developing an idea, writing and editing content, capturing and producing video, coordinating multiple projects and creating the systems that keep a busy marketing department moving.

A significant part of the role is identifying the stories worth telling. This means being curious about the work and people around you, building strong relationships across the practice and recognising the projects, ideas, processes and moments that could become meaningful content.

Who We're Looking For

You will be a strong writer and communicator with excellent visual judgement, exceptional organisational skills and the confidence to work independently.

You will ideally have experience within architecture, interiors, design or a closely related design-led environment, with an established understanding of the language, vocabulary and visual culture of the industry.

 You will be:

- A confident writer and editor with strong editorial judgement.

- Highly visually literate with a sophisticated understanding of design

- Hands-on with content creation including videography

- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities

- Curious, proactive and an independent thinker

- Comfortable moving between creative thinking and operational delivery

- Interested in architecture, interiors, publishing, media, technology and broader culture

- Someone who naturally identifies stories, ideas and opportunities rather than waiting for them to be presented

- Preferably technically capable in: Adobe Creative Suite, Later, Edits app, Mailchimp, Statamic (CMS), SEO Basics, Google Analytics and some experience with audio equipment.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who notices things.

Someone who asks questions, follows ideas, understands the importance of detail and is genuinely interested in the people, work and wider world surrounding the practice.

This is an in practice role based at our Sydney HQ. The role is structured around four days per week, with scope to consider full-time for the right candidate.
