Mondrian Gold Coast is a hotel on the iconic Burleigh Heads beach on the Gold Coast, Queensland, an international destination surrounded by abundant natural beauty.
Unfolding over 24 floors of studios, suites and homes, the space includes hospitality venues, a hybrid events space, wellness and spa. In addition to the hotel entry, our Practice designed Lito, a ground floor restaurant and adjoining terrace as well as Haven, a third floor oceanfront restaurant and pool club.
Lito features soaring architecture, dendriform columns and materiality that feels deeply hand made, textural and rich. Lofty mirrors reflect the Esplanade’s pine trees and tessellated tiles flood the floor. Concrete formed bar fronts in coastal hues are curved in concert with the solid walnut mid century furniture. A mid century inspired eatery serving farm-to-table fare.
