Glorietta, a vibrant bar and 220-seat restaurant in North Sydney, transforms a stark, double-height glass box into a lively dining destination.
Inspired by Italian aesthetics, the transformation overcame the challenge of a cold, commercial space with limited visibility. The design strategically deconstructs the venue into distinct zones using varied floor treatments, such as polished concrete and timber boards, enhancing spatial uniqueness. Five seating options further delineate each area, fostering intimacy. The carefully curated palette, featuring earthy tones and organic materials, softens the space.
From a vaulted rattan ceiling to rust-red tables, Glorietta's warm ambience invites afternoon spritz seekers, fine diners, and casual pizza enthusiasts. As the podium tenant, it serves as a cultural hub, activating the surrounding precinct and shaping the corporate precinct into a dynamic entertainment destination.
