The heritage listed Woolwich Pier Hotel stands as a vibrant social hub for the Woolwich community.

Its renewal and replanning sought to weave history into its modern design that now hosts a sports bar, dining hall, courtyard and gaming facilities on the ground floor, while the first floor boasts an elegant saloon with a balcony.

Through a carefully curated mid-century European style, the venue blends restoration with heritage to create a versatile and inviting space. The new staircase unravels Woolwich's history, exposing layers of concrete, brick, steel, and timber.

Challenges of heritage restrictions were met with innovative structural solutions and new architectural language, resulting in a harmonious blend of old and contemporary. The venue's evolution is a celebration of community, history, and inclusive design.
