A restaurant within Rosebery's Cannery precinct, Stanton & Co transforms a former cyclone fence manufacturing plant into a 250 patron fine bar/bistro with an open show kitchen.

Adapting the Riley Street garage brand to the Art Deco heritage envelope, the design reveals and accentuates the steel heritage. The project carefully balances warm, expressive, and refined tones with a robust, exposed structural shell.

Maintaining the heritage shell's integrity, the adaptive reuse project focuses on reversibility, showcasing a synergy between existing fabric and new works.

Aiming to minimise the visual impact, the bar and kitchen are cleverly integrated into the space, creating a historic ambiance, promoting architectural sustainability, and renewing the cultural identity of the heritage precinct.
